Here’s a compilation of the top robotics companies shaping the landscape of innovation.

1. ABB

This company serves different industries, including healthcare, logistics, metal fabrication, construction, and fabrication. Autonomous mobile robots and RobotStudio (an offline programming and simulation tool for robotic applications) are among its products.

2. RightHand Robotics

RightHand Robotics creates flexible robotic technology that lessens the difficulties in conventional order fulfillment for e-commerce. Further, RightHand Robotics uses robots to choose and sort portable objects to expedite the fulfillment of orders. This has earned the company’s robots the nickname “pickers.”

3. Boston Dynamics

The third on our list of top robotics companies is Boston Dynamics. They create robots with dexterity resembling both humans and animals. The company’s robot Spot can traverse challenging terrain and carry up to 31 pounds to promote automation and safety in industrial inspections. Meanwhile, Stretch is another option that was developed to manage case handling and truck unloading for warehouse operations.

4. Vecna Robotics

Vecna’s autonomous robots transport, lift and carry all types of materials in human-centric environments for usage in manufacturing, storage, and fulfillment. They assist warehouse and distribution workers in moving goods swiftly and with little effort. According to the company, its technologies “dramatically increase cart pick rates by optimizing picks and automating horizontal transport. Thus, it significantly reduces walking distances.”

5. NVIDIA

Isaac’s robotics platform, NVIDIA, enables the creation and use of robots across different industries. It can be used to build virtual spaces for testing robots and controlling robot fleets. As one of the top robotics companies, autonomous robots could be powered by NVIDIA’s artificial intelligence technologies. This includes the Jetson Orin AI computer.

iRobot, a company that was founded in 1990, manufactures various intelligent vacuums, floor cleaners, and mopping devices. Moreover, its products include Braava and the Roomba. The company also engages in teaching children STEM education.

7. SVT Robotics

The SOFTBOT Platform from SVT Robotics is promoted as a tool for effectively deploying robots, automation, and IoT devices. According to the company, the platform can shorten onboarding times and lower operating costs.

8. Rethink Robotics

Rethink Robotics, a division of the HAHN Group produces Cobots, or collaborative robots, to perform tasks for different industries. Further, they perform tasks including:

  • Plastic injection
  • Transporting components to and from different places
  • Co-packaging and end-of-line packaging
  • Blow molding
  • CNC machine maintenance

9. Comau

Over three dozen industrial robots from Comau are available, with payload capabilities ranging from 3 to 650 kilograms. Comau also manufactures the MATE-EXT exoskeleton, which supports the user’s shoulders and arms while they perform demanding, repetitive tasks.

10. Anduril

The hardware and software products that Anduril creates are intended to address the major security issues facing America and its allies. Anduril also offers mission-effective technology that can be deployed in hours. These include sentry towers and intelligent air support devices, alongside Lattice, an AI-backed platform that combines real-time data from Anduril and external systems into a single dashboard.

11. Starship Technologies

Short-distance deliveries are possible with self-driving robots from Starship Technologies. After making an order, a customer can track the robot’s route through a mobile app. Additionally, the under 100-pound machines can maneuver past people and other obstacles while moving at a walking speed. Until the consumer uses the app to unlock the cargo bay and retrieve the delivery, the products being delivered stay in a locked cargo bay.

12. Outrider

Autonomous yard operations cars made by Outrider increase safety and lower emissions. With vehicles capable of tractor-to-trailer coupling and maneuvering between dock doors, and over-the-road pickup places, Outrider also develops site infrastructure and management systems to improve operations. 13. Nuro

Nuro pushes robotics technology to the forefront of daily life by creating technology that enables people to use resources, time, and attention more effectively. The company’s primary product is a line of fully autonomous vehicles that are built to move items swiftly, safely, and economically. However, these vehicles are supported by a customizable interior design that can perform tasks like picking up dry cleaning or delivering groceries.

14. Rapid Robotics

Rapid Robotics is producing robots that can be deployed for easy jobs in a few hours to address the manufacturing manpower shortage. The company works to make setup time as inexpensively efficient as possible so that manufacturers can pay less for other automated solutions. Additionally, a subscription program is used to order the robots themselves.

15. Apptronik
